Twitter's event – part of its tenth birthday celebrations – kicked off yesterday (26 April) at a secret London location, and is taking place until 3 May.
It aims to celebrate users' passions on the platform with special tech-focused installations, including the giant Twitterverse, which is projected onto an 11-metre curved screen.
Different coloured ‘webs’ represent topics on the platform including sport, TV, music, film, fashion and food.
Visitors can use iPads to interact with the visualisation by ‘zooming’ into a topic, a hashtag and an individual tweet in real-time.
Other installations at #TwitterLive include a beer-dispensing robot and a swing that is hooked up to Twitter's live streaming app, Periscope. A robotic 'woodpecker' can also be seen pecking out attendees' tweets on a wall.
Electro duo SnakeHips will play at the venue tomorrow (28 April), while Vine stars like Yasmine Wilde and Cory Poppins will be creating content at the event.
Steve Blyth, founder & CEO at Engage Works, said: "We aim to create interconnected experiences for our customers everyday, and working with a social media platform like Twitter, with such a depth of information at its disposal, has been so exciting for us.
"We can’t wait to show media companies and creatives how this program can help them access trends and passions simply and effectively, bringing a wealth of analytic material to their fingertips."
Dara Nasr, managing director, Twitter UK, added: "Whatever your passion, Twitter is a great way to connect to the things you love. This week we are bringing people closer to some of those passions with #TwitterLive. We're going to be sharing some wonderful Twitter art, Vines, Periscopes and videos as we take people on a unique interactive journey to the heart of Twitter."
