Located in Williamson Square, the artwork was revealed at 9.30am this morning by ex-Liverpool player and Titan Bet ambassador John Barnes. Media and fans of both Liverpool and Everton came to view the installation, which features an artist’s impression of Kenny Dalglish and Alan Hensen lifting the European trophy.
Working with agency Square in the Air, the piece was commissioned by Titan Bet ahead of Liverpool’s home game against Real Madrid on Wednesday (23 October). The street art will remain in the square throughout today, allowing fans to interact and take photos.
Barnes said: "The images of Liverpool’s European triumphs are etched in the minds of supporters and still adorn the banners on the Kop. The arrival of Real Madrid at Anfield this week will rekindle those memories, and what better way to inspire their modern day equivalents than a portrait of the titans of yesteryear.
"Titan Bet will have a host of great betting offers for those opening an account ahead of Wednesday’s match adding even more excitement to what should be a fabulous occasion."
