The launch event showcased the new format for the Halloween events, which sees Thorpe Park team up with entertainment company Lionsgate UK for the first time to present horror movie-themed Fright Nights.
The night gave event professionals and the likes of The X Factor boy band Union J a chance to experience the new corporate offering for Fright Nights, which gives guests access to their own 'RIP Lounge' complete with soft furnishings, a pop-up bar and a selection of bowl food.
On arrival guests were ushered to Bar 360 by actors dressed as the masked murders from the film You’re Next for canapés and drinks. A team of specially-trained scare actors then popped up among the crowd and posed with them for pictures.
Later attendees headed into the heart of the park to experience the new live action mazes - with agency Space responsible for their new design - that are based on a variety of well-known horror films, before trying out some of the the park’s rollercoasters at night.
Jennifer Connery, head of corporate events at Thorpe Park, said: "The new addition of the RIP Lounge adds a touch of luxury to an evening of terror.
"Guests receive a greater experience as they can enjoy all the thrills of the park and regain their composure from the terrifying onslaught of Fright Nights in its exclusive lounge."
The Fright Nights events will run throughout October.
