Created in collaboration with partners including caterer Table Talk, florist Pinstripes & Peonies, lighting effects company Wise Productions, Prelude and Sternberg Clarke, representatives from banks, law firms and creative industries were welcomed into the Crypt at St Paul’s.
The space was transformed into a secret garden by the use of opulent flowers and foliage from Pinstripes and Peonies, as well as lighting effects from Wise Productions and musical entertainment provided by Sternberg Clarke.
Guests enjoyed a selection of Table Talk’s canapés, which launched its spring summer menu at the event. Dishes included an innovative edible garden served by waitresses dressed as butterflies, with a range of vegetable canapés on a bed of edible soil with ingredients including cream cheese.
Other food served on the night included salmon feullete with tomato concasse, tuna tartare served with avocado and lime sorbet, tomato Nam Jim dressing and sakura cress and roast free-range duck breast.
The evening drew to a close with the reveal of a delicious secret garden dessert bar offering strawberries and cherries dipped in chocolate, coconut candy floss trees, strawberry and champagne jellies, fruit whoopee cakes and sugared lollies.
Guests were served a range of drinks such as prosecco as well as a range of cocktails. These included Thyme for Tea, a peach iced tea infused with thyme; The Secret Garden, a combination of lavender, Chase English gin and lychee; and the Rum Runner Banana Punch, a heady mix of banana, cognac, bourbon and spiced cider.
