Classically trained musician and celebrity presenter Myleene Klass tinkered with the digital ivories at the launch at Spitalfields Market in London yesterday (10 December).
The piano is made from 106 of the new tablets, and features a fully functioning ‘keyboard’. Passers-by could have a go and were encouraged to play their favourite Christmas song.
The installation also featured new Wi-5 technology, allowing people to access information on the new tablets without the need for any downloads or even a 3G internet connection.
Conor Pierce, vice president of IT and Mobile at Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland, said: "The tablet piano not only sounds great but looks great too, with the screens showing off a fantastic gold Christmas wrapping paper animation."
