In pictures: Red Bull hosts club nights in London Eye

Last night (14 November), Red Bull welcomed clubbers on board the EDF Energy London Eye for its Revolutions in Sound takeover event.

The event was a celebration of the energy drink brand’s Red Bull Music Academy, which has been running for 15 years. Thirty clubs and more than 100 music artists including Mark Ronson, Lily Allen, Katy B and Rudimental stepped on board the London attraction, which was lit up in Red Bull's trademark red and blue colours, to celebrate UK club culture.

Highlights included Ronson playing a vinyl-only DJ set alongside Allen, who gave an animated rendition of new single Hard Out Here. Katy B joined electronic music producer Skream for a one-off sky-high collaboration, while Canadian-born DJ Richie Hawtin returned to his roots in the Lost capsule.

In addition to the individual club nights taking place in the London Eye’s capsules, 2,000 clubbers joined 2 Bears, Jackmaster, Felix da Housecat and Ashley Beedle as they battled it out in a silent disco at the foot of the venue.

Online, the Red Bull Revolutions in Sound event generated an audience of more than one million viewers via Channel4.com and YouTube, featuring 31 live streams, one from each capsule.
