Guests from several of London’s agencies attended the event, including Ten Group, Beyond Certainty, Capita Travel and Events, Chew and Grass Roots, at the venue which is located under the iconic Gherkin. To demonstrate the scope and breadth of the venue refresh, guests were invited to partake in intricate gin and whiskey masterclasses following the new 'Emporium' menu maps that form a prominent part of Bury Court’s new feel.
Alongside the masterclasses, which included a guided look at a collection of small-batch craft gins and whiskeys, attendees enjoyed a collection of tasters from the new mixed drinks menu – a combination of exotic flavours from the empire. These included the Pegu Club, a cool blend of Cointreau, Gin, Lime, Orange and Bitters and the Regent’s Punch, a punchy combination of Courvoisier VS, Appleton UX, Orange Curacao, Ceylon Arrack, Lemon, Orange, Pineapple-green tea syrup and Cava. Guests also enjoyed a seletion of canapés.
Georgina Coleman, head of corporate sales at Late Night London, said: "We are extremely excited to be previewing the venue. It is so wonderful to have this incredible location looking fresh, clean and ready for action and the response this evening to the look and feel as well as the menu reinforces my conviction that this is going to be a strong favourite for full hires and intimate events across the year. They have really managed to do something a bit different here, keeping the essence of Balls Brothers whilst incorporating all of the elements that make it a must have."
