The Breakfast Club, entered by Absolute Radio presenter Christian O'Connell and his team, took out the 2015 title.

The team's soapbox began as an A-Team van; it was later transformed into a Dukes of Hazzard car and finally shed its bodywork to reveal a silver DeLorean underneath.

Other soapbox designs included a Willy Wonka’s ‘Chocolate Factory’ kart, Disney-inspired soapbox in the form of Frozen’s Olaf and an ambulance known as the ‘Shockbox’.

The international event, which took place at London’s Alexandra Palace, saw 70 teams of both experienced and amateur drivers race down a 420-metre long obstacle course.

This year’s course included a 40-metre drop from top to bottom, making it one of the steepest and fastest Soapbox races yet.

The non-motorised soapbox vehicles were designed and built by the competitors, who hailed from across the UK.

Innovision has worked with Red Bull since 2008, where it has delivered events including the  and Red Bull Air Race.
