In pictures: Heathrow hires Fisher for T2 Christmas activation

Fisher Productions has erected a 90 foot-plus interactive vinyl Christmas tree at Heathrow Airport's Terminal Two as part of a new festive campaign.

Located in the covered courtyard at Terminal Two: The Queen's Terminal, the graphic has been given a vintage feel and features festoons of lights that can be triggered to flash and dance by passengers who tweet Christmas greetings using the hashtag #T2Christmas.

Heathrow’s chief operating office Normand Boivin launched the experience this week with the first tweet. He said: "Launching the Terminal 2 Christmas tree with the first tweet was brilliant fun. It is a fantastic piece of technology and really adds a festive touch to the terminal. We’re certain our passengers will enjoy taking part in lighting up the tree and look forward to hearing their thoughts through Twitter."

The tree will be in situ until 6 January 2015.
