Tennis fans descended on the clothing retailer’s Oxford Circus flagship store from 5pm to meet the Czech sports star, as well as witness the unveiling of his latest clothing line with H&M.
Guests were instructed to head to the store's The Lounge area, located at the top of the building, where they were treated to drinks and canapés before the event began.
Fitness and health blogger John Robertson from the Everyday Man facilitated a Q&A with Berdych, who later posed for photographs with fans and signed a large tennis ball.
Since 2013 Berdych has worked with H&M to develop its tennis collection, which includes shorts, tights, shirts, tennis caps and sweatbands.
To celebrate the start of Wimbledon next Monday (29 June), H&M also ran an online 'Thomas Berdych Quiz' competition from Monday (22 June), where participants could win one of four professional tennis racquets.
The competition has since closed, with winners to be contacted within the next 24 hours.
