Hair styling brand Ghd opened its Sleek & Movement (S&M) pop-up studio in London's Soho last night (17 September) in celebration of London Fashion Week's (LFW) new location.

Faces from the world of fashion, including model Lisa Snowdon and blogger Bip Ling, were in attendance at the venue’s launch party on Dean Street. Guests were met at the door by a dominatrix and given a first-look through the keyholes and into the concept hair salon.

The space features gold leather interiors and S&M inspired details, including a styling 'tool wall', black mesh curtains and decadent light fittings.

Consumers can book tickets to the pop-up via event app YPlan. Once inside, they can choose to have their hair styled in a 'do from either the 'sleek' or 'movement' menus.

Once their session is complete, clients can capture their new look on the bespoke Ghd Twitter mirror and share a photo online.

The studio, which has been devised and executed by agencies Devries Slam and The Persuaders, also features a media lounge where LFW attendees can relax throughout the five-day event.

Last night saw VIP guests treated to black and gold Tanqueray Gin cocktails, squid ink risotto, black pastry and mushroom tartlets, and black and gold macarons.
