In pictures: David Beckham's Haig Club pop-up

David Beckham's Scotch whisky brand Haig Club marked its residency of London's Wellington Arch last week (1-7 March) by lighting the iconic structure blue.

Designed and produced by Ben Robinson in collaboration with Heart Productions, the pop-up bar was conceived as a modern interpretation of the British private clubs featured in the Haig ‘Clubman Series’ adverts from the 1920s.

Interior designer Amanda Sheppard transformed the interior of the pop-up with dark leather chairs, vintage cocktail-making contraptions and pops of the whisky’s signature blue. The bar also featured a hidden whisky snug that displayed the history of the Haig Whisky dynasty.

Brett Graham, Mike Robinson and Alex Harper of the Michelin-starred restaurant Harwood Arms designed a menu suited to pair with the drink. Mixologist Sweet & Chilli were at the bar serving up signature cocktails, designed by global brand ambassador Ewan Gunn.

Special guests including Idris Elba, David Furnish, Tana Ramsey and Guy Ritchie joined Beckham at the VIP opening night of the pop-up.
