Situated in the centre of Manchester, at the heart of the resurgent area of Ancoats, the historic venue has been given a multi-million pound refurbishment and can hold up to 230 people.
Guests at the launch enjoyed a cocktail reception with canapés provided by the venue’s caterer Chapman Holmes. On the menu were dishes including smoked halibut with griolles mushrooms and bacon fricasseé, citrus cured salmon with Pernod jelly and lemon and rosemary lamb lollipops.
Attendees were welcomed by Concerto Group chief executive Teresa-Anne Dunleavy and chairman Mike Kershaw before being entertained by singer Afrika Funetes. The venue was enhanced with lighting provided by event sponsor Luminate, whilst Springbank provided floral decor and theming.
Dunleavy said: "Hallé St. Peter’s is an elegant Manchester event space which we’re sure our clients will love. This venue creates the perfect backdrop for a wide range of occasions; we’re looking forward to hosting some very special events here."
Accommodation will also soon be available at nearby boutique hotel Hotel Gotham, which is due to open next spring.
