The Capture The Night event invited keen photographers to the venue's Ely’s Yard to try out Canon’s camera products and receive advice on how to take photographs in low light.
The event is part of the brand’s wider #ComeAndSee campaign, which features a collaboration with professional wildlife photographer Jamie Hall. Inspired by his work featuring urban deer exploring residential streets, Canon commissioned street artists Graffiti Life to create two bespoke 3D models of deer.
Guests were encouraged to take shots of the artworks as daylight faded in east London. Once they had been taken they were encouraged to print their best shots using Canon’s printer range and enter a competition to win a tutorial with Hall.
A similar experience is set to take place next weekend (28-30 November) in Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. The mall will host a pop-up photography dark room where shoppers can try their hand at low-level photography.
