The interiors of the ‘pop-up hive’, which is the first Burt's Bees brand store in the UK, include hexagonal honeycomb fittings, yellow surfaces and live plants.
A giant lip balm roamed the streets of Covent Garden on Saturday (7 June) to encourage Londoners and tourists to visit the store with exclusive coupons.
An event for UK fashion and beauty bloggers, hosted by Carrie Harwood from lifestyle website Wish Wish Wish, is set to take place on Wednesday evening.
The company worked with online pop-up rental company Appear Here to locate the retail space.
Margaret McHugh, marketing manager at Burt's Bees, said: "The aim of the Burt's Bees pop-up store is to raise brand awareness, so we wanted to provide a really engaging shopping experience. We want people to fall in love with the brand and our products.
"By having a retail space we feel we can provide our consumers with a space to tell our brand story."
