Approximately 250 guests attended the event at London’s Shoreditch Studios, which was split into two spaces. The first space celebrated LS.12’s original shoe, which launched in 1987 and was famous among tennis players.
The space had been transformed into a 1980s-themed area, featuring a vintage food truck, catered by Le Bun, vintage furniture, arcade games and a live projection of the 1980s video game Pong, which guests were able to play on the night.
The second area was focused on the present, introducing the LS.12. Shoes were displayed on white plinths in front of a white Lacoste croc neon sign. A two-metre, 3D model of the shoe was projection mapped onto a wall throughout the evening, and in the mezzanine area upstairs Bigger built a mini tennis court in black with white LED lighting.
Other entertainment included a DJ set by Toddla T, a sweet stand and a light painting photobooth.
Bigger account manager Johanna Ambrosius and senior account manager and Miles Nation, told Event: "We are very happy with how the event went and we’ve had lots of positive feedback. It’s always great working with Lacoste and this has been a really interesting and enjoyable event to produce."
Suppliers to the event included Holition, which provided its projection mapping services, set builders B2B Events, Precise Productions, which supplied lighting and Tim Simpson Photography, which provided the light painting photobooth.
