Participants were encouraged to wear minimal make-up, and at various points throughout the 3.7 mile course they could stop-off at Benefit beauty checkpoints to receive touch-ups to their skin, lips, eyes and eyebrows.
The march, which was led by TV and radio presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, covered key London attractions including Marble Arch, Wellington Arch, Golden Square and Piccadilly Circus.
It forms part of the brand’s wider campaign, The Bold is Beautiful Project, which will also see Benefit donate 100% of profits from its brow wax services to the two charities throughout the month of May.
Crawford said: "Today was a true celebration of womanhood and proved that when we unite together for a fantastic cause we can really make a difference to the work Look Good Feel Better and Refuge do. Marching alongside so many inspirational women will be something I’ll never forget."
