Among the attendees, including event organisers, corporate event professionals and local businesses, were representatives from British Airways and Johnson & Johnson. Guests were invited to sip on Champagne and feast on an assortment of festive-inspired fare, created by head chef Greg Starks and his team.
Canapés and bowl food were on offer to guests during the event, including blinis with smoked salmon and sour crème topped with caviar, goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tartlet, traditional turkey with cranberry sauce and honey roasted Berkshire sausages with sage and onion mash. A dessert station served up individual squares of Christmas cake, mince pies, shortbread and gingerbread men.
The event showcased Beaumont Estate’s spaces available for Christmas party hire, including the restored Chapel themed as a winter wonderland, the art deco features in the dining room complemented the Gatsby theming and the Remenham room, which was set for a grand festive affair.
The Chapel’s original alcoves served as Santa’s private grotto where each guest received a goody bag containing gifts including a Beaumont Estate-embossed snowflake Christmas tree ornament, festive chocolates and reindeer rock sweets.
Corporate event specialists KDM provided all theming in the event spaces and Guy Portlock from Magic Entertainment amused guests with magic tricks.
Peter Ingels, general manager at Beaumont Estate, said: "The purpose of the Christmas Taster was to give event organisers a preview of the possibilities for Christmas parties at Beaumont Estate. The event was created to inspire and share the Christmas concepts achievable in our event spaces."
