The Old Vic Summer Party was in aid of The Old Vic Tunnels, a not for profit organisation that offers people an introduction to every branch of the arts

Tom Jones headlined the evening, entertaining crowds with classics, What’s New Pussycat and Delilah. The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra then took to the stage.

The Admirable Crichton provided canapés and bowl food for the 150 VIP guests. Oyster Meister, Banana Man and Piadina stalls were available for the other 550 ticket holders, who also enjoyed the photobooth by Out of Order, Salida Productions performers and Radio One DJ Nihal Arthanayake.

Oliver Barker, deputy chairman of Sotheby’s, rallied the crowds for an exclusive art auction featuring work from Tracey Emin, Sir Peter Blake, Banksy, The Chapman Brothers and Ronnie Wood, who created a bespoke image for The Old Vic Tunnels.

The event was produced by Val Coward, founder of Pathfinder Events. "The events team at The Old Vic Tunnels really pulled out all the stops to bring sponsors, art works, entertainment, staging, lighting and venue design together  – not to mention selling all the tickets in such a short time," she said.
