Sara Kimberley came over all nostalgic when watching CHI & Partners’ latest ad for Drench: "I’m dying to play with a Rubik’s Cube now. The spot is cleverly creative and pays attention to small detail. But despite the weird humour, you also can’t help but wince with pain when you hear the man’s head creak as he moves parts of it around to correct his face. Ouch!" The ad was written and art directed by Ed Edwards and Dave Masterman, and directed by Ulf Johansson through Smith and Jones.

Anne Cassidy thinks the latest ad by Da Costa & Co for the breath freshener RetarDex stinks: "The name of the product suggests the advertising might not be the sharpest, so it’s not like I was expecting much. But the complete lack of wit in this ad did manage to take my breath away. RetarDex is warning us that if we use any other mouthwash, we’ll be just one of the herd and develop bovine characteristics. There was disturbing amount of mooing. Booing would have been much more appropriate."
