Philips rolls out 'tables you need to hear' to neighbourhood pubs

Philips Sound has launched a "tables you need to hear" experiential campaign in pubs across the UK and German featuring tables with an in-built MP3 player and headphone socket.

The three UK pubs included, all of which were in London, were Hackney's Bar Kino, Shoreditch's Old Blue Last and The White Horse in Brixton, with the campaign running from the end of May until the end of June.

Each table has a handcrafted design incorporating an illustration that is meaningful to the location and an instruction to "plug your headphones in here" with 20-track playlists curated to that particular neighbourhood. The full playlists are due to be made available online in the near future.
