Rubins will lead a team of industry judges that will select the best media campaigns from the past 12 months in the annual awards, to be held on 26 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
The ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 Media Awards celebrate brilliant and inspiring creative media ideas. They are designed to recognise the growing diversity of media thinking and reward campaigns where media has made a real difference.
Rubins said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be leading this, I thought they’d never ask.
"Let’s be honest, marketing has never been more challenging or challenged but the opportunity for media agencies has never been greater.
"These awards are all about celebrating the work that has cut through and made a tangible contribution."
Rubins started his career at Y&R in 1987 and joined PHD in 2000 after stints at Carat, Mediacom and Mediavest. He became managing director in 2007 and, after being promoted to chief executive in 2011, PHD won all three Media Agency of the Year accolades.
This year’s annual awards ceremony will include annual recognition of Sales Team of the Year awards for TV, radio, digital, print, outdoor and cross-media, as well as Media ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 of the Year. New to this year will be The Bloomberg Data and Creativity Award.
Entry deadline for ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 Media Awards is 10th July. For more information visit
