Persil recruits eight-year-old break-dancer for new ad spot

Persil has recruited B-Girl Terra - the eight-year-old break-dancer who shot to fame after a video of her performing in 2013 received 3 million views in a week - for its new global campaign.

DLKW Lowe created the spot, which shows Terra playing hopscotch when a beat kicks in and Terra starts break-dancing. The girl’s clothes get dirty during the performance but a quick head spin makes them pristine again, and the spot ends with the line "powerful stain removal with every spin". The work was created by Ben Evans and Adam Sears, and directed by Nadia Marquard Otsen.
