Perrier Vittel UK recruits KP Nuts marketing chief

Perrier Vittel UK has appointed Aoife Burnell as its marketing

chief, following the departure of Lindsay Campbell in June.

Burnell, who will take the post of marketing controller, joins from KP

Nuts, where she was marketing manager for two-and-a-half years.

She previously worked at Anheuser-Busch across the Budweiser and

Michelob brands. She will take responsibility for marketing water brands

including Perrier, San Pellegrino and Buxton.

In August Perrier Vittel launched a poster campaign created by Ogilvy &

Mather to advertise its new Perrier PET bottle, marking the first time

in its 100-year history that the drink had been put in plastic

bottles.

The bottle, designed by The Red Dragon Agency, was launched in a bid to

capture a younger market, which eats and drinks on the move. The firm

predicts it will sell 16 million plastic bottles this year across

Europe, alongside its original glass packaging.

The company's Buxton mineral water brand this year supplanted diet Coke

as the official on-court drink at Wimbledon, giving the brand global TV

exposure throughout the summer.
