Pepsi promotional campaign to feature David Beckham

Pepsi is boosting one of the biggest marketing partnerships in global football with a 2004 promotional campaign featuring David Beckham. The Real Madrid player will star in Pepsi's 'Dare for More' campaign alongside Francesco Totti, Ronaldhino, Roberto Carlos, and Raul Gonzalez. Activity in the run-up to Euro 2004 will include an ad campaign through Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and grass-roots activities. The players will also be featured on cans of Pepsi and on in-store promotions, allowing consumers to win prizes ranging from Pepsi football merchandise to meeting the players. Karen Goffe, marketing director of PepsiCo UK, said: "We have always strived to deliver the very best to football fans and this year will be no different."
