The soft drinks brand will hold the event at the Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square, which is home to the Pepsi Max IMAX. Doors to the event will open at 4.29pm – the time McFly arrives again in Hill Valley – with the screening beginning at 5.30pm.

The brand promises a 'fully interactive experience', complete with a replica of the Café ‘80s scene that featured a futuristic Pepsi dispensing machine.

To gain entry to the event, fans of the film have been asked to enter a competition via Facebook and Twitter.

Alex Nicholas, senior brand manager at Pepsi Max, said: "We are incredibly excited for 21 October and can’t wait to create an immersive experience for Back To The Future fans. The iconic franchise is hugely important to us and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with the experience."
