John Bernard has been appointed by LG's mobile phone division to lead all future marketing activity in the new role of UK head of marketing for mobile phones. He joins from LG rival Siemens Mobile, where he was UK channel marketing manager.
Bernard will report to managing director Chan Park, and will be responsible for brand and product marketing initiatives.
Last week LG Electronics general marketing manager Nigel Couzens announced that he was leaving. It is not known whether he has a job to go to.
