Stephen Powell has been named senior vice-president of sales and marketing at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
He will be responsible for the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Express brands in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was previously vice-president of sales, UK & Ireland, at IHG, and replaces David Hughes, who is now senior vice-president of commercial for EMEA.
