Before the movie started, the Spanish star was joined on stage by director Pedro Almodovar to help introduce it.
Guests enjoyed the first outdoor sceening of the movie as part of , an annual event at Somerset House.
Those lucky enough to be in the VIP section also enjoyed a canape-and-champagne reception before the screening.
Film4 channel editor David Cox said: "We are pleased to continue our partnership with Somerset House for a fifth year, making Film4 Summer Screen one of our most successful encounters with live audiences."
Other films to be screened at the venue include Slumdog Millionaire, Raiders of the Lost Ark and West Side Story.
