The move follows last week's decision by the company to shift the global Pedigree account, believed to be worth more than $100m, from Grey Worldwide to TBWA\. A Masterfoods spokeswoman said TBWA's appointment was part of a global reorganisation of its agency roster.
Pedigree had mixed fortunes last year, with sales of its canned dog food falling 11%, according to Marketing's Biggest Brands, while the launch of its Pedigree Chunks in Jelly pouch added sales of between 拢10m and 拢15m.
The Pedigree account was not put out to pitch and comes after TBWA\London picked up the Masterfoods Skittles account last week.
TBWA\London already holds the 拢40m European ad business for Masterfoods' cat food brand Whiskas.
