The London-based design agency has been working with Waitrose for two-and-a-half years with previous designs including Pure bath products, a selection of whiskies and ready meals and the packaging for its Umi range of bath and beauty products, which won a Marketing magazine design award last week.
The new range, branded Waitrose Entertaining, features 30 party foods including meat, fish, vegetarian and sweet options.
The party foods will launch on November 30, in time for the Christmas season.
The packaging has been designed with a minimal approach, focusing on the food photography and reflecting the "fun" nature of the food itself.
Jonathan Ford, creative partner of Pearlfisher, said: "We wanted the design to come across as funky and quirky without being overly complicated and by focusing on the quality of the product itself with a clean and simple idea.
"More and more people are entertaining at home now so the design was a nice reference to the way that food is arranged at a party."
