The computer retailer's business division will produce a title called Your Office that will be distributed exclusively through WH Smith. Its focus will be helping the managers of SMEs make the most of the latest technology.
The magazine, produced by customer publishing agency Engage, will launch on 11 September.
Your Office is positioned as a one-off purchase, rather than a subscription title, although its content will be updated several times a year to align it with the equipment available in PC World.
The tie-up follows the decision of WH Smith to separate its retail and news distribution businesses, a move that was approved by shareholders this month. The retail arm will retain the WH Smith brand; the news division will be renamed Smiths News.
