So, his additional international responsibilities, awarded to him in July, are very fitting. Bousquet-Chavanne has been at the retailer for two years and brings an unbending emphasis on quality, using the strong performance of M&S Food to boost the brand’s fashion credentials under the ‘Only M&S’ umbrella. The latest food TV ad is bold, stylised and markedly different from the long-standing "Not just any…" campaign of a decade ago, with a refusal to get sucked into a price-focused food message.
