Parker Williams gives Early Learning Centre a new look

LONDON – The Early Learning Centre has overhauled its branding through Parker Williams as it faces increased competition in the sector.

The agency has redesigned packaging across a range of products including games, art and creativity puzzles.

The move comes as rival nursery retailer Mamas & Papas has hired a brace of PR firms ahead of new store openings over the next year.

Starfish Communications has been hired to promote the shops, including a flagship store on London's Regent Street, as the group undertakes a major expansion programme that will see it open ten stores to add to the existing 23 outlets.

Until June the Early Learning Centre, which is part of retail entrepreneur Tim Waterstone's Chelsea Stores group, employed PR agency Starfish.

Chelsea Stores has also been revamping its stores, hiring Liquid Communications earlier this year to review its in-store branding and signage. The retailer has briefed Liquid to create a cohesive brand identity, beginning with its flagship store on London's King's Road.
