Asda launches its ‘big electronics sale’ offering laptops, phones and TVs at reduced prices.

One advertiser that doesn't push a sale is Sky, which takes out full-page ads across the national press declaring it now has 10 million customers and promising to keep improving the quality of its programmes.

Chanel takes out a full page in The Daily Telegraph advertising its J12 watch.
