Paper Round (6 October) - Which clients are advertising in the national press?

After Orange successfully made Wednesday the busiest night at the cinema, 20th Century Fox goes in for the hard sell with ads across all the national papers for today's opening night of 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps'.

The film is being heavily publicised with not only with ads but also a cover wrap around Metro and a rare one around City AM. Ads prominently feature Michael Douglas, who has become seriously ill with cancer since filming the picture, in his return to the role of Gordon Gekko.

Designer AP Audemars Piguet sorts out its creative a day late for a congratulations ad for the European Ryder Cup-winning golf team picturing the team’s stars alongside one of its watches.

Chain restaurant Toby Carvery jumbles up its ad message, advertising a £5.25 meal deal which includes a Sundae dessert under the strapline "sweet on Sundaes?". However the offer doesn’t apply on Sundays, a glance at the small print shows you need to have enjoyed your meal before 6.30 on any other day of the week.

A full page in The Daily Telegraph pictures a chicken dinner for two along with wine and a chocolate desert, all for £10 from the Sainsbury’s re-launched Taste the Difference range. The ad also appears in several other papers.

Wispa aims to build on the online success that saw it return to the nation's confectionery racks, encouraging chocolate lovers to its Facebook group, which now has 1,243,081 members.

Meanwhile, Hello! magazine advertises its launch of a cooking title called Haute Cuisine in the Daily Mail. , the book will be sold in supermarkets as well as Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
