Barclays rolls out a new creative to show its door is open to customers looking for mortgages, featuring an open door surrounded by blue sky in a full-page ad in The Times.

The press campaign continues throughout the paper in a number of other executions, including a creative promoting free seminars for business customers.

Volkswagen shows the "evolution of van" in its latest press campaign, promoting the car-maker's new Transporter model.

Debenhams advertises its sale, which starts today, with a full-page ad in The Sun.

Morrisons encourages healthy eating with deals on fresh fruit and vegetables, while Asda suggests settling down with a bottle of wine as the cold weather sets in, offering bottles for "better than half-price".

Meanwhile, questions are being asked about the safety of Segway's products, after one of the firm's bosses was killed in an accident involving the scooter.

The scooters can only be driven on private property in the UK, but 2,000 have already been shipped to distributors in this country.
