
Morrisons continues its "price crunch" with ads in The Sun, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Mail and The Daily Express highlighting half price products.
Asda promotes "fridge fillers for £2" in The Sun, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail.
Ryanair takes out a full page luminous yellow ad in The Independent promising travel in February from £3. A similar ad appears in The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian.
The Daily Mail includes extracts from the memoirs of BBC broadcast journalist Peter Sissons attacking the BBC and accusing it of being "a propaganda machine for climate change zealots".
Meanwhile, The Independent runs a comment piece describing "the odious rule of government" as being "never offend the Murdochs".
The newspaper asks why David Cameron had dinner with News Corporation heir James Murdoch at a time when the Government is deciding if News Corp can take over BSkyB ().
The paper doesn't turn down an ad from Sky however, promoting the South Bank Sky Arts Awards to be shown on Sky Arts 1 tonight. The ad also appears in The Daily Telegraph.
