Panasonic puts bras in bars

Panasonic has booked a four-week campaign with Translucis, the

national bar and club network of plasma screens, comprising ads deemed

too saucy for TV.

The ads - for digital music player Ewear - will appear in 68 bars across

the UK, including London bars Strawberry Moons and Stream.

The execution depicts a woman listening to music on her Panasonic Ewear

player. She gets swept away by the sounds, strips to her underwear and

pole-dances.

Michelle Hobbs, planner/buyer at Universal McCann, booked the push

through Zoe Robinson, account director at Translucis.

Measuring up to 42 inches, the screens are linked to an electronic till

system, Epos, which is connected to Translucis's Business Management

System. The link allows advertisers to see corresponding sales data.
