Marques will work alongside Neil Miller, the chief executive, who joined in February last year.
Miller said that the hire is the "final building block" for Possible’s new management team. Marques joined the agency on Wednesday and replaces Lucas Peon in the role. Peon had joined from Possible’s Cincinnati office in 2014.
Marques has been working as a freelance creative director after co-founding Wilderness, a digital production company, in 2014. He was a creative director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty London between 2010 and 2013.
Marques was previously the executive creative director at Publicis Modem (now Publicis Nurun) for more than a year. He has also worked at Wieden & Kennedy and R/GA London, and began his career as a designer and programmer at Digital Media in 1996.
Daniel Chu, the global chief creative officer at Possible, said: "London is a key market for us. We’re seeing clients come to us when their other agency partners or consultants just aren’t able to deliver.
"We anticipate our London office will be a global centre for our clients. We needed a creative vision to match our ambitions for London."
