The luxury hotel company and travel operator revealed Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc will be hosting a dinner on 16 November on the London train, featuring a seven-course menu, champagne and canapés.
One hundred guests will be able to enjoy the fine dining ‘Dinner Dates with’ experience in the 1920s Art Deco carriages of the train as it departs from London Victoria station at 7pm and travels throughout the English countryside.
The chef will be spending time with guests during the evening to share his passion and expertise in cooking. He will reunite with his former apprentice Robbie Gleeson, who is executive head chef for the company’s UK Day Trains.
Blanc will also be hosting a dinner on sister train, The Northern Belle, departing from Manchester on 2 November.
Orient Express said further ‘Dinner Dates with’ experiences will be announced shortly.
