Orange in senior posts rejig after marketers leave

Three of Orange's longest-serving marketers have quit the company.

Head of brand communications Nicole Louis and Liz Cope, head of UK brand, have left the company. It is not known whether the pair have jobs to go to. The company said it was on the hunt for a replacement for Louis, who will report to brand marketing director Jeremy Dale.

Cope has been replaced by Georgina Smith, who recently joined Orange from Lloyds TSB, where she was head of brand marketing.

In addition, Peter Raymond, Orange's head of global sponsorship and one of the brand's last remaining launch marketers, is also leaving the company to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Raymond was re-sponsible for Orange's sponsorship of the now-defunct Arrows Formula One team.

Most of his responsibilities will be assumed by new group head of sponsorship Pippa Dunn, who joins from NTL.

The shake-up comes in the wake of last week's appointment of Solomon Trujillo as chief executive, and corporate affairs director Denise Lewis stepping down.
