Murdoch MacLennan, the newly installed boss of Telegraph Newspapers, has made a significant hiring for the group and brought in Orange executive vice president, John Allwood.
Allwood will report to chief executive MacLennan, who joined from Associated Newspapers in August, as his new executive director.
In the past Allwood has held senior posts at News International, Sky and Trinity Mirror.
