The online shopping channel marks Yell.com's first step towards competing in the UK e-commerce market.
The site has been produced in partnership with Pangora, a provider of product search and online shopping technology. Users can search for products under "product match" and "category match" services.
The association with Pangora means that if a Yell.com user types "iPod" into the search engine, they will not just get classified listings, but also listings from Pangora's list of over 2.5 million products, sourced from over 600 online retailers.
Users can also find online shops and offline shops on the same search.
Yell.com has a reach of 6 million users, according to Nielsen//Netratings.
Eddie Cheng, president of Yell.com, said: "We are always looking for new ways to enhance users' experience of Yell.com - making it more than just Yellow Pages online."
