One Two Four, which is currently based in London, Plymouth, Abu Dhabi and Philadelphia, acquired events agency Rocket Science in 2010, however has rebranded the company to bring the business under one name along with Twofour Digital and Twofour Arabia.
The agency aims to achieve geographical expansion over the next three years. Its senior team is investigating potential acquisitions and joint ventures with businesses that have a background in branded content in the three selected destinations.
Mark Hawkins, chief executive of One Two Four, said the acquisitions and joint ventures could come from any disciplines in the agency’s portfolio, including events.
He added: "One Two Four has a 25-year heritage in creating meaningful content for an abundance of international brands, a growing number of whom are asking us to have operational capabilities in their main markets.
"Our team is intent on bringing its unique philosophy of creating content for brands that influences how people feel, moves them to change, and inspires them to act, to a plethora of new audiences. I’m tremendously excited about expanding our team on an international scale."
The announcement was made at a party held at the RSA Vaults in London. The event showcased its body of work through experiential areas, such as an interactive submarine game, a cinema complete with popcorn and hotdogs and a pop-up garden to celebrate its work on the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
One Two Four counts brands such as HSBC, Sony, Levi's, Audi and Volkswagen among its clients, while its events arm currently works with Škoda and Virgin Startup.
