But rather than complete abolition, the OPLC is already preparing to reform and report to the Mayor’s office, instead of existing as it currently does as a quasi-autonomous, non-governmental organisation.

"There has been significant progress in discussions about the Olympic Park Legacy Company evolving into a Mayoral Development Corporation, which will give us greater powers to deliver a lasting legacy for east London.
