Olive teams up with Wagamama for DVD and book giveaway

LONDON – Japanese restaurant chain Wagamama has linked up with BBC Magazine's food title Olive for a free gift offer.

The April issue, on sale from March 1, will feature two free gifts, a glossy 48-page recipe book published by Kyle Cathie, which also publishes 'The Wagamama Cookbook', as well as a 30-minute DVD showing demonstrations from Wagamama chefs.

The DVD and recipe book will be presented in a bag, which is attached to all UK issues of the magazine as part of a deal set up by Liz Taylor-Britton, BBC Food Magazines Group marketing manager, and Julia Barder, Kyle Cathie's marketing and new business development director.

Taylor-Britton said: "Olive magazine is a great supporter of value-for-money restaurants that serve fresh ingredients so we're delighted to offer readers this unique opportunity to enjoy the Wagamama experience at home."

Kyle Cathie's 'The Wagamama Cookbook' has sold more than 150,000 copies in the UK. The publisher is also set to publish 'Ways with Noodles' in May this year.
