OgilvyOne bolsters senior management

LONDON - Paul O'Donnell, the recently appointed chairman of OgilvyOne Worldwide, is continuing to strengthen the agency's senior management team, naming Cordell Burke and Fiona MacDonald as managing partners of OgilvyOne London.

In his new role, Burke, who was previously creative director, will increase his responsibility for the overall management of the creative department as well as all aspects of the agency's creative output, while continuing to work alongside executive creative director Rory Sutherland.

MacDonald will retain her role as managing director of Design Direct, OgilvyOne's print, production and design division. However, she will now be charged with looking at improving productivity across the entire agency.

O'Donnell stepped up to the role of chairman in September, replacing Nigel Howlett who moved across to become executive vice-president of the company's global consulting practice. He was previously the executive vice-president and international development director for the worldwide network.

Since becoming chairman, O'Donnell has promoted Louise Ainsworth to the post of head of Ogilvy Interactive in December. Ainsworth joined the agency last summer as director of strategy and client development from Organic London, where she was group director of engagement management.
