Ogilvy & Mather London wins gold Radio Lion in Cannes

All of shortlisted UK agencies won awards in the Radio Lions category at Cannes tonight, with Ogilvy & Mather London scooping a gold.

The WPP shop won gold for its "a mother’s body" work for Unilever and a bronze Lion ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 for its work for Phillips.

The Grand Prix was awarded to Grey Germany’s Dusseldorf and Berlin offices which created "The Berlin Wall of sound – the most unbearable radio ad" for Soundcloud.

AMV DDBO also won a silver Lion ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 for Mars Petcare.

Global Radio Creative, London, also took home a silver and a bronze Lion for "X-Men FM", which promoted the 20th Century Fox movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past by rebranding XFM as X-Men FM on May 22, 2014.

Last year there was only one UK winner in the Radio Lions category: Ogilvy and Mather London’s "beach" ad for Unilever’s Dove brand earned the agency a Bronze Lion.
