Saville was part of the team that launched The O2 in 2007. Taking on her role will be Nathan Kosky, who joined the company from the Ricoh Arena in 2010.

Kosky has since led the sales division of AEG’s global partnerships team since 2014, securing partnerships with brands across its venue portfolio and leading the team responsible for acquiring the SSE naming rights for Glasgow’s Hydro and Wembley Arena.

Matthew Zweck is to re-join AEG from Manchester United as sales director of global partnerships. As part of the global partnerships team, he will lead commercial and sponsorship sales for The SSE Hydro, which already has ties with the likes of Heineken, Sony, Coca-Cola and Capital FM.

Saville said: "It has been a fantastic 10 years with AEG and I’ve loved working for this business. Being part of the team that turned the former Millennium Dome into the world’s most successful venue, working with O2 to make it what it is has undoubtedly been a career highlight.

"I’d like to wish Nathan and team well for the exciting challenges ahead."

Paul Samuels, executive vice president of AEG global partnerships, added: "Nathan has been instrumental in the growth of our business since re-joining in 2010. I’m delighted he has now stepped up to lead our efforts.

"Lesley has overseen a decade of success and firmly established the naming rights model in the UK market place. I know Nathan and his new team will build on this, connecting more brands and partners with the live music and entertainment business."
